Dragon Ball Super Huge Change Coming for GOKU & VEGETA(DETAILS!!!)

When it comes to Goku and Vegeta’s parts in the narrative, the newest chapter of Dragon Ball Super will take a risk that the anime has never taken before in any of its previous chapters.

The next plot arc of Dragon Ball Super may alter the functions that Goku and Vegeta play in the narrative in a way that has never been done before. The two most powerful Saiyan warriors, Goku and Vegeta, will temporarily step aside so that their kids, Goten and Trunks, may take center stage in the new story arc.

This will be the 1st time that this will happen, as Goku and Vegeta will be gone on a distant planet practicing.

Dragon Ball Super has, from the very beginning of the series, made it quite obvious that Goku and Vegeta are the two primary heroes of the plot. Although it is reasonable, this choice has put a shadow on the fantastic ensemble that the viewers of Dragon Ball Z came to adore over the course of the series.

The alternative to this rule was the story arc titled “Tournament of Power,” which was one of the best-known received by fans since it allowed several fan-favorite supporting figures to take center stage.

Despite this, everything returned back to its original state almost immediately thereafter, with Goku and Vegeta yet again rising up to combat first the alien invader Moro followed by the Heeters all through the Granolah the Survivor storyline.

Meanwhile, Dragon Ball Super is shifting gears once more, and the following narrative arc will focus on Goten and Trunks, 2 heroes who did even not make an appearance during the Tournament of Power. This will be the first time in Dragon Ball Super’s history that this has happened.

Based on a teaser sneak peek that will be showing up in the February 2023 issue of the magazine V-Jump (which will be published in December 2022), and which was provided on Twitter by @DbsHype, the major protagonists of this latest plotline will be Goten and Trunks, whereas Goku and Vegeta are far from Earth, coaching on the planet of the God of Destruction Beerus.

To remove some of the most well-known heroes from the narrative of a series is a bold move, but it’s one that the creators of Dragon Ball Super are not hesitant to make.

Due to Goku and Vegeta’s Absence, the Sons Will Receive More Attention

This teaser sheds light on the hints that were dropped in the most recent issue of V-Jump. Goten and Trunks will play the leading roles in the next arc of Dragon Ball Super, which is scheduled to premiere on December 20. This arc will serve as a precursor to the plot that was told in the film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.

During the plotline centered on Majin Buu in Dragon Ball Z, the 2 Saiyan children made their debut, and the audience immediately took a liking to them. Regrettably, they did not get nearly any attention in Dragon Ball Super; however, all of this will soon change.

Given that the advertising picture depicts an adult version of Goten and Trunks, it may be deduced that the new narrative plotline takes place sometime after the ending of the Granolah arc.

It’s likely that Goku and Vegeta are honing their fighting skills in preparation for an assault on Frieza, who humiliated them in the last episode of Dragon Ball Super before the show went on “vacation”.

Throughout their absences, new champions must step up to preserve Earth, and the clothes worn by Goten and Trunks indicate that they are assuming secret identities in the same manner that Gohan did when he became the Great Saiyaman.

Due to the fact that it has been established that Goten and Trunks will take on the role of heroes, it has been established that Goku and Vegeta will not perform an active role in the narrative for the very first time.

This demonstrates that Dragon Ball Super is not scared to modify its methodology in any way.
