Marvel Movies RELEASE DATES 2022–2026 (DETAILS REVEALED!!!)

Numerous Marvel films are now in production at Marvel Studios, Sony, and Fox, so stay tuned for those. The following is a list of every major film that will be released in the following years.

But even so, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) doesn’t really explain all of the numerous Marvel films and shows that will be released in the following couple of years. This is not unusual given that the MCU has now grown into the world’s biggest movie franchise in history and consistently continues to dominate box office receipts around the world.

Even though Sony Pictures Entertainment has an ongoing partnership with Marvel and Disney at this time, it remains unknown how precisely their films will be integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Certain copyrights to Marvel assets still belong to Sony Pictures Entertainment. On the other hand, new Marvel major updates on projects from both corporations are released nearly every week.

The following is a list of all the verified announcements on the upcoming releases of Marvel movies in theaters.

At the San Diego Comic-Con International 2022, Marvel and Disney revealed a wealth of new information, the most important of which was the clarification of launch dates for upcoming films such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Blade remake and Captain America: New World Order.

Marvel Explains Black Widow’s Endgame Death Real Purpose

They further disclosed that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will officially enter Phase 5 after the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It has been revealed by Kevin Feige that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now in The Multiverse Saga, with Kang the Conqueror serving as Phase 5’s primary adversary.

Marvel Studios and Sony are now collaborating with directors that not only contribute their own particular tones and compositions but also grant them greater control over their artistic efforts.

This has resulted in a greater variety of circumstances in previous projects, and it appears that this trend will be continued in subsequent Marvel releases.

The superhero film genre is demonstrating that it is continually developing, and the movies produced by Marvel Studios are ahead of the curve.

These are all of the specifics and launch dates for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and Sony films that are scheduled to be released in 2022 and 2023.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – November 11, 2022

WAKANDA FOREVER: Kukulkan’s MYTHOLOGICAL SECRETS!!!

There is no disputing that it was an astonishing critical and commercial triumph for Marvel Studios, and despite the fact that its foreign profit was not on a comparable scale as that of Avengers: Infinity War, there is also no doubting that.

Given Ryan Coogler is returning to the director’s chair for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, it should come as no surprise that the film has been a critical part of Marvel’s ambitions for the MCU Phase 4 as early as 2018.

Following the untimely death of Chadwick Boseman, there are no current plans to recast the role of T’Challa, and it is abundantly evident from the footage seen in trailers that the character has also been killed off in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the upcoming sequel will concentrate on a different facet of Wakandan culture.

Shuri, who is portrayed by Letitia Wright, will perform a pivotal part, but the name of the next Black Panther has not been revealed yet. However, there’s going to be a new Black Panther.

On the other hand, it is now known that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will present Namor and the undersea kingdom of Talocan.

Fans of Marvel Comics have been demanding for years to watch the hero Namor adapted for the big screen, and the fight between Talocan and Wakanda certainly has all the makings of a landmark event in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The fact that this movie will feature both Namor and a new Black Panther implies that it is certain that Wakanda Forever is going to be a game-changer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This makes it the clear front-runner among all of the upcoming Marvel release dates.

Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special – November 25, 2022

On the 25th of November 2022, the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will be made available to the public for the first time, right in time for the holiday period.

Even though it is not particularly large on the ranking of Marvel release dates that are made a priority by the majority of Marvel audiences, the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special teaser trailer guarantees a light-hearted break in the middle of the dramatic events that have been provided on by the Multiverse Saga.

Their goal is to make Star-Lord (Christ Pratt) extremely happy on Christmas because he’s upset about Gamora’s death (Zoe Saldana).

Star-Lord/Peter Quill, Mantis, Drax, Kraglin, Rocket (Bradley Cooper), a slightly more mature Groot (Vin Diesel), Nebula (Karen Gilan), Cosmo the Spacedog (Maria Bakalova), and Kevin Bacon’s MCU starring as himself are among the cast members featured in the Holiday Special.

Kraven The Hunter – January 13, 2023

Kraven the Hunter film will be the next Marvel movie to be published outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters will proceed with just another film centered on a Spider-Man antagonist, continuing in the steps of Venom and Morbius, both of which were released in recent years.

It has not yet been established whether or not Kraven will play a role in the highly expected Sinister Six movie.

Despite this, Kraven was a crucial cog in the evil machine, therefore it seems probable that he was involved. In 2018, the concept of the stand-alone film was initially discussed.

By the year 2020, it already had a script that had been penned by Richard Wenk and that had been revised by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.

Shortly after that, J.C. Chandor began discussions about directing the movie. In the following months, there was very little information shared regarding any possible progress.

In May of 2021, though, Aaron Taylor-Johnson was cast in the title role of Kraven, and the production moved ahead by a significant amount as a result.

Ever since a large number of teaser trailers as well as first clips snippets have been made available to the public.

Considering Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s performance in the MCU as Quicksilver/Pietro Maximoff, a number of doubts were raised over the film’s potential place in both Sony’s Spider-Man realms and the wider MCU’s multiverse.

The film is scheduled to make its debut in the early part of 2023.

Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania – February 17, 2023

The much-anticipated third movie in the Ant-Man and the Wasp movie franchise, titled Quantumania, is scheduled to be released in 2023, and excitement for the film is indeed rising.

The announcement that Ant-Man 3 will kick off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was one of the most significant Marvel developments to come out of San Diego Comic-Con 2022.

The characters of Hank Pym, played by Michael Douglas, and Janet van Dyne, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, will appear alongside the couple once more.

Kathryn Newton will take up the role of Cassie Lang, regardless of the fact that Emma Fuhrmann portrayed the character in the movie Avengers: Endgame.

Peyton Reed took on the role of director once more, this time working from a script written by Jeff Loveness, who also works on Rick and Morty.

Despite the fact that production was completed in 2021, the movie is not scheduled to be released until early 2023. This is due to scheduling difficulties that were caused by the epidemic.

The iconic Marvel villain Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) is getting his grand entrance in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania, and he is shown in the teaser trailer for Ant-Man 3 wearing his marvel comic body armor of metallic green and purple.

This should make the patience for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania worthwhile, as the diminishing superheroes will face their greatest challenge to date.

Cassie Lang, whose reimagined self-made her first appearance in the promotional video for the film, constructs a machine that transmits a signal to the Quantum Realm.

As a result, Cassie, Scott, Hope, Janet, and Hank are sucked back into the realm in an effort to potentially contact or save other souls that have been lost.

The final scene of the trailer for Ant-Man 3 shows Kang making a deal offer to Scott, but the specifics of the contract are not revealed.

Furthermore, even though the trailer doesn’t really contain MODOK, who has been revealed to be a true villain in the film, it did give viewers their initial glance at Bill Murray’s Marvel Cinematic Universe character on screen.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – May 5, 2023

Due to the difficulties encountered in bringing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to the big screen, Marvel has provided inconsistent updates about the film for years.

The fact that Disney fired filmmaker James Gunn after offensive remarks he posted on Twitter several years ago was brought to light was certainly not the least of these missteps.

Following an outpouring of support for Gunn from both supporters and fellow cast members, the choice was taken to rehire him, despite the fact that Warner Bros. had already secured his services for the directing of The Suicide Squad. After that, Gunn jumped right into developing a TV spinoff for Peacemaker.

Due to these and a number of other setbacks, production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 didn’t get underway until the closing months of the year 2021.

The specifics of the storyline for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are being kept private, although we will get a more in-depth look at Rocket Raccoon’s past, and Peter Quill will have to cope with a form of Gamora who really doesn’t recognize him.

On the other hand, it has been established that every member of the original cast will be back for the sequel to Thor: Love and Thunder, which featured appearances by the Guardians.

Only after the post-credits tease in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in 2017, Will Poulter will definitely be introducing Adam Warlock to the screen, while Chukwudi Iwuji will portray the High Evolutionary, a fascinating villain from Marvel Comics.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse – June 2, 2023

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is the title of the next film in the Spider-Man franchise, and its release is scheduled for the year 2023.

It took much longer than anyone had expected for this sequel to the 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to be released. Furthermore to the time spent creating the story, the animation process required several years.

The fans aren’t very worried about it. However, Sony has been quite meticulous, particularly with regard to the graphics.

The fact that Miles Morales’ cinematic debut was animated is one of the reasons why it has become one of the most well-liked superhero movies that has ever been produced.

Sony Pictures announced their intention to create a follow-up film just prior to actually Into the Spider-Verse being released in cinemas.

The movie trailers have shown that Gwen Stacy will be making a comeback to Miles Morales’ world in order to ensnare him in yet another Spider-Verse-spanning adventure. However, the plot specifics are yet unknown.

This time around, though, it will be Miles who will go to a number of different alternate universes, and it appears that Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099 will also play a significant role.

The launch of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was originally scheduled for 2022, but Sony has since shifted the date back to the summer of 2023.

This provides the animators with the time to ensure that the sequel comes up to the high standards set by the first film in the series.

THE MARVELS / CAPTAIN MARVEL 2 (2023 DETAILS!!!)

Even if Captain Marvel’s debut outing did not achieve the same level of commercial success as, say, Avengers: Endgame, it was nonetheless a huge hit with audiences.

As a result, it should come as no surprise that the character of Carol Danvers, played by Brie Larson, will be back for a sequel during the summer of 2023.

The sequel, which has been officially renamed The Marvels and is currently in production, will see Carol team up with a now-adult Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) as well as Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani). The latter character made her first appearance in the Ms. Marvel series on Disney+.

The Disney+ series created a lot of context for The Marvels, most significantly with the Ms. Marvel post-credits moment, which has seen Carol and Kamala Khan switch spots, with Carol appearing disoriented in Kamala’s bedroom. This moment was the most important piece of preparation for The Marvels.

WandaVision was the first appearance of Monica Rambeau’s superpowers, and Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness featured a parallel reality in which Maria Rambeau served as Captain Marvel of Earth-838.

It seems probable that Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy will continue their journey throughout the Spider-Verse together in this sequel to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One), if the previews for the film are any indication.

Spider-Man: Freshman Year is an animated Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man prequel movie that will be available on Disney+. At this moment, it is an extremely unlikely chance.

Since it’s been defined in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness that certain realities are animated, there is a slight chance that Miles and Gwen will meet up with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part Two). However, the likelihood of this happening is extremely low.

Captain America: New World Order – May 3, 2024

The film Captain America: New World Order, in which Sam Wilson shall play the role of Captain America for the first time on the big screen, is scheduled to be released on May 3, 2024.

It is expected that the next Captain America film will continue forward from Falcon and the Winter Soldier, while simultaneously pulling on actions from other films within the related Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Anthony Mackie has been confirmed to reprise his role as Sam Wilson, and Julius Onah, director of The Cloverfield Paradox, has been brought on board to helm the production.

It will be Sam Wilson’s 1st standalone movie as the new Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, therefore Captain America: New World Order is an important milestone for his role.

That being said, the news that Harrison Ford will make his premiere in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as General “Thunderbolt” Ross in the upcoming 4th Captain America film series is likely to garner the most attention.

William Hurt, a fan-favorite actor who had played the role since the inception of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Phase 1, passed away in 2022.

Even though “Thunderbolt” Ross’s position in Captain America: New World Order remains a mystery, the news that Harrison Ford will be taking over for William Hurt has reignited speculation that Red Hulk may make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

In the meantime, Samuel Sterns, who played the Incredible Hulk, is making a comeback in Captain America: New World Order, which is a move that has slightly slipped under the radar.

After Bruce Banner’s (Edward Norton) blood pours onto Samuel Sterns’ injuries in MCU Phase, it gives him the appearance of having the green skin color and enlarged cranium that are characteristic of the character The Leader. This was a hint that Samuel Sterns would eventually become The Leader.

In the comic book, the Leader is a member of the supervillain organization Intelligencia, together with Ross and MODOK. Intelligencia is the group that is accountable for transforming Ross into the Red Hulk.

The return of The Leader is intriguing for its own sake, however, it also provides an additional indication that Red Hulk will eventually join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is because the She-version Hulk of Intelligencia will play a significant part in the series.

What Does Doc Ock’s MCU Future Look Like? (LATEST NEWS!!!)

In point of fact, Captain America: New World Order is quickly followed by Thunderbolts in the lineup of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and in the Marvel Comics universe, General Ross as Red Hulk headed one of the numerous iterations of the antihero as squad mentioned earlier.

Thunderbolts – July 26, 2024

On July 26, 2024, the Thunderbolts will make their first appearance. Some people believe that this will be the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of Suicide Squad.

Kevin Feige unveiled the Thunderbolts release date as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe panel at SDCC 2022. The cast and character roster for Thunderbolts were released later that same year at Disney’s D23 convention.

The Thunderbolt’s launch date has been talked about online for some time now.

Throughout the whole of Phase 4, Julia’s Louis character, Dreyfus’s Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, has been acting in a suspicious manner toward those she is recruiting.

Val’s strange acts had the greatest possibility of being tied to Thunderbolts, as far as indications to the roster of Marvel’s Thunderbolts went; and certainly, indeed, the team that Val has been gathering is definitely the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s very own group of antiheroes.

Yelena Belova, played by Florence Pugh, Bucky Barnes, portrayed by Sebastian Stan, United States Agent/John Walker, played by Wyatt Russell, Taskmaster/Antonia Dreykov, portrayed by Olga Kurylenko, Red Guardian/Alexi Shostakov, portrayed by David Harbour, and Ghost/Ava Starr are the members who have been confirmed (Hannah John-Kamen).

Inexplicably, there has been no confirmation of Baron Zemo’s (Daniel Brühl) participation in Thunderbolts, which is odd considering that he was the one who established the very first iteration of the group in the comics in 1997.

At this time, in spite of Zemo, there is a great deal of conjecture that Harrison Ford’s character, General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, may join the squad and become the MCU Red Hulk in Phase 5.

Yet, given the manner in which Marvel adapts parts from the original material, it is very possible that Valentina de Fontaine, who is already established as the commander of the Thunderbolts, may transform into the Red She-Hulk.

The Thunderbolts are the antihero equivalent of the Avengers in Marvel Comics. They also serve as a forerunner to the Dark Avengers and the Dark Illuminati.

The list of characters for the Thunderbolts is much more impressive than the roster for the Avengers.

At this time, just one thing that can be said with absolute certainty is that the cast that has been disclosed isn’t the definitive lineup for the Thunderbolts and that announcements are being kept to a minimum in order to prevent future projects from being spoiled.

Blade – September 6, 2024

After the departure of the film’s first director, Bassam Tariq, and the subsequent suspension of production, the launch of the MCU adaptation of Blade has been pushed back to the year 2024. The Blade revival will have a story written by Stacy Osei-Kuffour, and Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali is in talks to take the title role of the vampiric/vampire-slaying superhero.

After Easter eggs hinted at Blade’s presence in Loki and Mahershala Ali’s Blade was proven to be the person talking to Kit Harrington’s Dane Whitman/Black Knight in Eternals, the Marvel Cinematic Universe began providing several signs that Blade will be appearing in the not too distant future.

There is not a lot that is recognized regarding the reboot of Blade that will be part of the MCU, other than the fact that Wesley Snipes will not appear in it and that the film will have a strong narrative correlation to The Eternals within the larger MCU canon.

This is analogous to the cosmic space-opera correlation that exists between Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Vampires are certain to have a role in it as well, given that Blade’s specialty is the elimination of vampires.

Many fans of the first Blade film, which starred Wesley Snipes, are unaware that the story was adapted from a comic book, despite the fact that the film has a significant fanbase.

The first Blade movie from 1998 and all of its sequels do not qualify as true superhero films.

They are action movies that include antagonists that are undead, and they are more similar to horror movies like Underworld or Resident Evil than anything that is often featured by Marvel.

It will be fascinating to watch how a Blade movie performs when it respects that character’s comic-book hero beginnings.

It will also be exciting to observe how hardcore fans of the first Blade movie from 1998 react to the character when he is featured among other superheroes like Spider-Man or Thor.

Deadpool 3 – November 8, 2024

Deadpool will be a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) the next time he is given the opportunity to appear in a movie of his own, as his current owners Disney have announced.

The release date of Deadpool 3 is set for November 8th, 2024, and it goes without saying that Ryan Reynolds will be returning to his leading role as the Merc With a Mouth.

Besides that, Reynolds has furthermore indicated that Hugh Jackman will indeed be remaking his part as Wolverine/Logan for Deadpool 3, which means that the notorious Weapon-X remaining survivors will actually arrive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and yet both alongside their legendary and supporter appearances from the Fox universe.

Since Disney completed its acquisition of Fox, the only X-Men film that has been officially stated to be in production is Deadpool 3.

Supporters were taken aback when they learned that Deadpool 3 will be a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) Phase 5 lineup; most of them had felt that seeing Wade in the MCU so quickly just after Disney and Fox merging was an impossible dream.

Deadpool 3, which was supposed to come out in September of the same year, was delayed together with numerous additional late Phase 5/Phase 6 ventures, almost certainly because of production difficulties with Blade.

Fantastic Four – Feb 14, 2025

Fantastic Four, which had been planned to be the final Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to be released in 2024, will now instead come out in February of 2025.

Even though it has not been determined whether or not John Krasinski will play the Earth-616 version of Reed Richards, the Fantastic Four is one of the most anticipated additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

At the D23 convention, Kevin Feige made the announcement that Matt Shakman had been hired to direct, however, he did not provide any information on the cast.

Prior to his departure from production in 2022, director Jon Watts had been attached to the project (as first reported by Deadline).

There has been no substantial MCU Fantastic Four information because the launch date was revealed at SDCC 2022, regardless of the fact that there was great anticipation that D23 would provide more concrete information regarding the reboot.

Without any information, it still holds the ability to be a game-changing MCU entry, as supporters are extremely thrilled for Marvel’s First Family to actually be brought to the MCU.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty – May 2, 2025

The release of the new Avengers movie is scheduled for the year 2025. The events that have transpired during the course of the universe story will reach their climax in the last installment of Phase 6, which is titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

As was the case with Infinity War before it, it seems expected that The Kang Dynasty will serve as the 1st installment in a crossover event that will span 2 films.

At this moment, we clearly understand barely anything about Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, other than the fact that it will star Kang the Conqueror as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU’s) alternative for Thanos.

Since initially portraying one of Kang’s guises, “He Who Remains,” in the first season of Loki, it is all but guaranteed that Jonathan Majors will continue to play the role of Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Avengers: Secret Wars – May 1, 2026

May 2026 has been chosen as the month for the release of the 2nd Avengers movie.

More than a year after the release of Fantastic Four, the 6th phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will come to a close with Avengers: Secret Wars, which will be a movie that spans many universes and will surely be larger in scope than Endgame.

It is likely that it will take inspiration from both Secret Wars (1984) and Secret Wars (2015) in order to create its own distinctive take on the Secret Wars Battleworld idea.

As was to be expected, there has been no news regarding the cast, but there are already a large number of predictions, both safe and not-so-safe, regarding who might appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe adaptation of Secret Wars in 2026, which is the year that Avengers: Secret Wars will be published.

Venom 3 – Release Date TBD

hardcore fans of Venom have already been “begging” to find out when Sony will atone with the sequel to the film Venom: Let There Be Carnage ever since his brief presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe did his character a terrible service.

Although it appears that there is a minimal possibility for a matchup between Tom Hardy and Tom Holland, there is no reason why Sony couldn’t create a speculated opening of Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man to their on-screen Venom. This is something that has been rumored to happen.

As of right now, there aren’t any specifics further than this, and given that it has not been confirmed as part of the roster for the MCU’s Multiverse Saga, it is probable that it will debut after the year 2025.

Moreover, Spider-Man: Homecoming was added as a last-minute regard to the previously announced Marvel Cinematic Universe projects because of the need to negotiate specifics with Sony.

It’s possible that the 1st latest Tom-Holland Spider-Man 4 will be announced late in Phase 5 or Phase 6, but that’s just a possibility.

In the event that it is true, however, it is a significantly better-kept secret than the fact that Andrew Garfield and Tony Maguire appeared in No Way Home.

There is no evidence to indicate that a new Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland will be released in the coming days.

Spider-Women – Release Date TBD

An all-female cast will take on the role of Spider-Man in the upcoming film Spider-Women, which is a spin-off of the initial Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Spider-Gwen, portrayed by Gwen Stacy, will make her triumphant return in the new film.

However, there are a lot of many other Spider-Women from Marvel Comics that Sony can take inspiration from, and they will be doing so.

In addition, the roles of Jessica Drew (also known as Spider-Woman) and Cindy Moon (also known as Silk) are scheduled to appear in the movie at some point.

Spider-Women has Bek Smith connected as the writer of the movie script, while there are rumored to be continuing discussions regarding Lauren Montgomery directing the film.

However, there is currently no verified date for the release of the product.

Jackpot – Release Date TBD

Following an announcement made by Sony in 2018 stating that the game Jackpot was being considered, it was discovered in 2020 that the adventure had been actively in progress ever since the announcement.

Marc Guggenheim, who contributed to the initial comic books and has also collaborated on television shows such as Supergirl and Arrow and films such as Green Lantern and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, is currently writing the movie script for the film.

In the world of Marvel Comics, there are two different characters who go by the name Jackpot.

Sara Ehret was the first person to use the title. She is the one who is endowed with superpowers after being subjected to a gene therapy experiment conducted by an Oscorp subsidiary.

This gives people hope for a Green Goblin future if the Jackpot movie chooses to go in this direction.

After some time has passed, Alana Jobson purchases the headline from Ehret and begins taking enhancement drugs in order to simulate her powers.

Eventually, she becomes a friend of Spider-Man. If even minimal Marvel characters such as Jackpot are receiving their own movies, it is impossible to predict where upcoming plans both within and outside of the MCU could move.

Final Thoughts

I hope that you like this list of upcoming Marvel movies that will be released from 2022 to 2026. We know for sure that we cannot wait until the release of these greatest sequels.
