Rengoku was forced to take the ultimate sacrifice in order to advance not just his and Tanjiro&#8217;s characters but also the overall storyline of the Demon Slayer series.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His passing will leave a significant void in the Demon Slayer Corps, but it will also help to forward the plot and the young demon slayers into the Entertainment District Arc and the Swordsmith Village Arc that will be featured in Demon Slayer season 3.
